SENIORS PENNANT FINAL-MALENY vs CABOOLTURE at PINE RIVERS 7th AUGUST 2023.
What a fantastic round of competition, with every match going to at least the 17th hole !!! ( Ian won his on the 16th). Unfortunately, Caboolture retained their undefeated status for the season, winning 12 to 6.
I would like to thank the team for an enjoyable season, and our sportsmanship and conduct as a team were recognized at the presentation, so Maleny has been well represented, well done guys.
On behalf of the team, I wish to thank the members for the support you have shown over the season, and I now draw your attention to the Div 2- Pennant Team currently in 2nd place, with only 2 rounds to go..next round at Bribie Island against Pine Rivers on the 13th August.. Best of luck guys.

ATTENTION ALL !! HOT OFF THE PRESS
MALENY SENIORS PENNANT TEAM HAVE MADE THE FINALS, WITH TODAYS 11-7 WIN AGAINST BEERWAH AT WOODFORD, WE MANAGED TO WRIGGLE PAST WANTIMA BY 3 POINTS FOR 2ND SPOT.
WE PLAY AGAINST CABOOLTURE AT PINE RIVERS ON 7TH AUGUST FOR THE PENNANTS....

The seniors pennant team is currently in third place, 8 points behind WANTIMA , with CABOOLTURE firmly in 1st position 7 points ahead of WANTIMA.
With only one round to play before finals, and the top two teams playing each other, we still have an opportunity to make the finals, but will need a convincing win against BEERWAH at WOODFORD on the 17th of JULY. BEST OF LUCK GUYS.

SENIOR PENNANT RESULTS RND 6
Congratulations are in order with MALENY defeating the top of the ladder BRIBIE ISLAND 14-4. With our biggest win of the series. That moves us to 2nd on the ladder- only 2 points behind the leaders in a three way 1st place tie.
That's right !!! 4 teams within 2 points of each other, and only 3 rounds left to play. I can't wait to see how this plays out with our next round at WOODFORD against KILCOY on MONDAY 19th JUNE.. KEEP YOU POSTED CHEERS PV
18th May 2023: Winners Again!
WINNERS AGAIN !! 3 FROM 4 PLAYED
MALENY had a comfortable 12 to 6 victory against PINE RIVERS at BEERWAH on Tuesday. Luckily the forecasted rain stayed away, and although wet in places, the course was in good condition. That moves us to 4th on the ladder which is a good place to be. With the exception of MALENY vs CABOOLTURE (our only loss) , the top teams haven't played against each other, so I'm expecting a bit of movement on the ladder in the remaining 4 rounds till finals. VERY EXCITING STUFF !!!. our next round is against the top team BRIBIE ISLAND at PINE RIVERS on 29th MAY 2023. Once again, if you see the team around the course, let them know your following our progress and give them a bit of support.

5th May 2023: Two from Three!
Our Seniors Pennant team had a convincing win at KILCOY on Monday.
We beat WOODFORD 2 with a convincing 15 to 3 win.!!
Next round (5) is at BEERWAH against PINE RIVERS on the 16th of MAY.
Wish us luck and give the boys a bit of encouragement when you see them.
Next Seniors fixture is BRIBIE ISLAND 8th MAY - booking sheet is now closed.

Senior pennants won their first round against WOODFORD 1 at CABOOLTURE.
Congratulations team. Next round is against CABOOLTURE at WANTIMA ON Tuesday 18-4-23.
Give the boys a bit of encouragement when you see them around and wish us luck for the next round.
Remember to check the GMGZ website for fixtures, results, booking sheets etc. or just ask me when you see me.
Next seniors fixture is stableford at CABOOLTURE 24-4-23. Must use booking sheet to put you're your name down.

The draw for Kilcoy can now be found on the GMGZ website. It is full (despite 3 spaces).
The next fixture will be a stableford at Caboolture on 24/04/23 - keep an eye out for the booking sheet.

Next round is a stableford at KILCOY Golf Club - 27 March 2023. You need to use the booking sheet on the website to book in, but once your there it is truly self explanatory.
The website also has events calendars, results, event draws..... everything you need to know.
Most of our over 50's at Maleny participate, so if you have any questions just ask.
You are already a member by affiliation, so get amongst it.
